PACTware™ Live Training 2009

Manufacturer-Independent Device Operation in Process Automation

This autumn, the PACTware™ Consortium introduces a new Live Training concept in four German centres of process automation. The half-day event consists of workshops facilitating the direct communication between the participants and the hosting PACTware™ member companies. The experts from eleven well-known companies in process automation will demonstrate how to make device operation more efficient by means of the universal PACTware™ operator interface. The main focus of the event is the practical benefit of device operation with the most commonly used FDT frame application, PACTware™. The workshops under the headings commissioning, operation and maintenance will show application examples in live operation by using a multi-vendor devices wall. Demonstrations will show to the participants how their daily work can be considerably facilitated and speeded up by using just one single tool for all communication and field devices be it HART, PROFIBUS or Foundation Fieldbus protocol.
The attendees will obtain detailed information in functions and scope of services of PACTware™.

The PACTware™ Live-Training will take place at the following locations:
•    Hamburg, November 10, 2009
•    Halle, November 11, 2009
•    Frankfurt/Höchst, November 12, 2009
•    Marl, November 13, 2009

The event is complemented by product exhibitions of the participating companies Bopp & Reuther, CodeWrights, ICS, ifak system, Invensys, KROHNE, Pepperl+Fuchs, Samson, Trebing & Himstedt, Turck and VEGA.
The Roadshow is supported by the FDT Group.
